CLAUDIO NAPOLITANO

CLAUDIO NAPOLITANO

In his Portrait series, which has won the Hasselblad Masters in 2009, Claudio Napolitano makes a strong social statement through the pure image of childhood.
"We adults, are a bank of emotions : our reality is composed of a constant sequence of emotions. As children, we not only learn language, manners and rules, but also, and I dare say most importantly, we learn emotions. This is why I chose children in my series - they display the most vivid emotion in its purest essence. The concept behind the series is to explore the ideologies at play between oppositions. When working with children and especially with such an intricate concept, the line between success and failure is very thin. The real challenge still remains to reach out to people and appeal to their emotions."

Fortune 500 companies has made Venezuelian photographer Claudio Napolitano the preferred photographer for his crisp and technically flawless style, complemented by his creative eye . Among others, his has been awarded : J&J James E Burke Global Marketing Award 2009 and 2010, Colors Award Nominee and the Cannes Lions National Diploma three years in a row.
