DONALD MIRALLE is a freelance photographer based in California, USA. He has covered major sporting events worldwide including six winter and summer Olympic Games, six Super Bowls, three Pan-American Games, the World Series, The Masters, and the Indianapolis 500. His editorial and commercial clients include Newsweek, ESPN the Magazine, Golf Digest, Men's Journal, Nike, Gatorade, Adidas, Taylormade, NFL Players Association, and the Discovery Channel.

Miralle's has won World Press Photo prizes in 2004 and 2005, Pictures of the Year International (2005-2010), NPPA Best of Photojournalism Sports Photojournalist of the Year (2006-2008), Sasakawa World Sports Photography Contest 2002, a National Headliner Award, Mobius Awards for his commercial work, NFL Hall of Fame (2001-2008) and many other accolades. Miralle also has served twice on the jury for the NPPA Best of Photojournalism, Swedish Pictures of the Year (Arets Bild 2007), the Wisconsin Press Photographers Association and the Utah Press Photographers Association. Miralle calls San Diego home with his wife Lauren, their sons Luke and Micah, and their dogs Odin and Frank.
