Swedish artist John Philip Edstrand is a contemporary painter working in multiple techniques, including drawing, sculpture, photography & digital images. By fusing them all together into his unique paintings, he explores the boundaries between painted surface and three dimensional object.
The visual effect is overwhelming, as the images consists of shapes with a strong physical appearance that is extended even more by the surface transforming into the sculptural.(JOHN PHILIP EDSTRAND)
