Fred Aufray










Fred Aufray received his education at the prestigious “Louis Lumiere” school of photography in Paris. After having assisted the world renowned fashion photographer Paolo Roversi, he started his career as a photographer between London, New York and Paris. He has worked for magazines like Tank, Jalouse, ID, Dazed & Confused, Italian Vogue, GQ, British Vogue, Sunday Times, Wallpaper, Spoon and French Elle.

Fred’s photography also consists of female nudes shot in studio through the years. These photos have been in many exhibitions in Paris, Lyon, and Brussells. He has had a book published in New York in 2001 titled “NU” and continues to participate in many exhibitions. “Chickclick”, one of the exhibitions to mention which is organized by the Boston Institute of Contemporary Art, is a traveling exhibit that goes between Boston, Zurich, and Munich. Fred has shot many large campaigns in Europe for clients like Le Printemps, Mauboussin, Repossi, Dice Kayek, Monoprix, Etam, Nexcare and is working on getting his second book published, “24 hours” which is based on a Voyage to Mexico.

He's starting to work on a new book about celebrities.
