Dick Walsh







Dick Walsh is an international visual artist based out of New York city. His talent has led him to a wide spectrum of work.

He has orchestrated such memorable events as Celine Dion's extravagant wedding, designed the windows for the Sony Manhattan Headquarters, set design for Miami's Delano hotel New Years Eve Parties, designed and coordinated the 'Cirque du Soleil' Saltimbanco party, the BMG Grammy Party at Barneys,4th of July celebration at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles, party opening for Hotel Godin in Montreal , decor for the famous Daffodil ball in Montreal, the 125th anniversary of the National Gallery in Ottawa, the opening night party for 'Cabaret' at the Henry Miller Theatre in New York, the New York Academy of Art's Tribecca Ball, and has worked with such fashion designers as Jean Paul Gauthier and Geoffrey Been. Amongst the events and the organizations Dick Walsh has worked with, he has created time and time again original, whimsical and elegant memories...

And now, Dick Walsh surprises us with his first major solo show in his adoptive city of Montréal. This amazing exposition entitled «FENELON», is a series of 24 astonishing sculptures inspired by the famous 17th century author Francois de Salignax de La Mothe.
